CUSTOM ELECTRIC TOP-LOADING INDUSTRIAL OVEN

The No. 882 specially designed 500-deg F electric top-loading oven from Grieve is being used for testing down-hole oil field equipment. Nichrome wire elements heat the workspace, while a 600 cfm horizontal front-to-rear airflow is provided by two 3 hp recirculating blowers.

No. 882 is a specially designed 500-deg F electric top-loading oven from Grieve, currently in use for testing down-hole oil field equipment. Workspace dimensions of this unit measure are 300 in x 12 in x 18 in. Nichrome wire elements heat the workspace while a 600 CFM horizontal front-to-rear airflow is provided by two 3 hp recirculating blowers.

The unit features an aluminized steel interior and exterior with 4-in thick insulated walls, a reinforced 1/4 in steel plate workspace floor to hold a 5,000 lb distributed load, a motor-operated rear-hinged door and a front flush-mounted control panel. The oven is supported on eight swivel casters with swivel locks and brakes for mobility.
