Milacron (Batavia, OH), a worldwide supplier of injection molding equipment and other processing technologies, recently announced the launch of its ?Helping You Make it in America? awareness campaign, an effort focusing on the challenges and opportunities faced by our country?s vital manufacturing sector.
The campaign will highlight the advanced technologies, strategic partnerships, advocacy, civic support and other keys to American manufacturers? success in today?s competitive global market and recovering economy.
?Milacron?s commitment to American manufacturing is about more than supporting our individual customers,? said company president Dave Lawrence. ?It?s also about fighting for our country?s manufacturing sector as a whole.?
Through difficult times, including recovering from bankruptcy last year, Milacron has kept its headquarters in America, staying true to its deep roots in domestic manufacturing. The company is the only remaining injection molding machinery manufacturer still based in the United States.
Milacron knows that, with today?s tight resources, lean operations and challenging demands, American manufacturers need more support than ever from their supply partners. The company works closely with customers not only to develop new technologies that meet emerging needs, but also to maximize the value of investments they?ve already made ? streamlining processes, increasing equipment utilization, reducing costs and optimizing performance.
These customer partnerships are at the core of the ?Helping You Make it in America? campaign.
?America?s manufacturers have been through a lot, but it?s hard to keep good companies down,? said Lawrence. ?At Milacron, we share this sense of resolve. We?ve been at the heart of manufacturing in this country for well over a century, and through thick and thin, our commitment to advancing U.S. manufacturers? success has only grown stronger.?
In addition, as manufacturers struggle to meet increasing demand with a decreasing workforce, Milacron will also use the campaign to encourage technical education in automation and other advanced technologies for the upcoming generation and promote manufacturing as a viable career option.
