Titanium Profilers Begin Production at Russian Boeing Plant
The six titanium profilers are part of a 34-machine order valued at more than $74 million that is being installed in this Russian landing gear manufacturing plant.

Six five-axis gantry profilers from MAG Industrial Automation Systems (Erlanger, KY) have completed installation at Russia's Ural Boeing Manufacturing (UBM) plant and are ready to begin making landing gear components for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, the Boeing 777 and other aircraft.
The six titanium profilers, part of a 34-machine order valued at more than $74 million, were installed in UBM's new Landing Gear Manufacturing Center of Excellence in Verkhnyaya Salda, Russia. UBM is a joint venture between Russian titanium producer VSMPO-Avisma and Boeing.
MAG, the world's largest U.S.-based machine tool company, is a global leader in metal cutting machine tools and automated composites equipment for the aerospace industry.
