Bunting® Magnetics Co. (Newton, KS) has announced the 2010-2011 recipients of the Walter F. Bunting and June A. Bunting Memorial Scholarships. This year represents an increase of scholarships awarded from twelve in 2009 to eighteen scholarships in 2010. The scholarships, which are $440 apiece, are awarded to our employees' college-age children for either university or vocational training.
?We are a family-owned company and we want to support the aspirations of our employee?s families,? stated Robert J. Bunting, Sr., president of Bunting. ?My parents, for whom these scholarships are named, were very close to their employees and valued their hard work and dedication. So, this program is something that is very close to my heart.?
