The Mantis is the lightest band saw in its class. Available from Wheeler-Rex (Ashtabula, OH), it comes complete with either a chain vise or a flat vise. Vises can be changed quickly and easily with just three bolts. It cuts ¼ in to 6 in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, conduit or polyethylene/polypropylene pipes. It can make angled cuts and can cut large and/or bundled pipes with ease.
