Weiler Corporation (Cresco, PA), a leading manufacturer of power and abrasive nylon brushes, has developed a new end brush with a nickel-plated cup. This brush is ideal for situations where low-melting point metals (such as zinc plating commonly used on end brushes) are prohibited. Because of its high melting point, this newly designed end brush conforms to the military specifications for nuclear applications.
The new stem mounted end brush with nickel-plating is ideal for weld preparation and cleaning; cleaning and finishing recessed areas or ID's; and die, mold and tool cleaning and polishing. Crimped wire (solid end) brushes are available in ½-, ¾- and 1-in diameters with trim lengths ranging from 7/8 in to 1-1/8 in. Knot wire (hollow end) brushes are available in ¾ in and 1-1/8 in with a 7/8-in trim length.
