A hoist-operated vacuum-powered tilter with manual rotation for reorienting and positioning large metal, wood, plastic, composite, and fiberglass panels is being introduced by Anver Corporation (Hudson, MA). The PF Series Vacuum Tilter-Rotator is a below-the-hook vacuum-powered lifter with 90 deg powered tilting and 360 deg manual rotation to let a single operator reorient and position large sheet. Featuring quad-spring mounted vacuum suction pads that are easily adjustable along a 10 ft beam, this work positioner has fully integrated pendant controls on the handlebar.
Allowing workers to easily change load orientation during a process, the Anver PF Series Vacuum Tilter-Rotator is designed for loads up to 1,000 lb. Supplied in models powered by compressed air or 115 VAC, standard features include an ergonomic handlebar, a vacuum gauge and leakage sensor with audio-visual alarms, and a wide selection of rubber vacuum suction cups.
A new, heavy-duty, below-the-hook vacuum-powered lifter for handling all ferrous and non-ferrous metals without the need for blocking or hooks is also being introduced by Anver. The E-Series Mill-Duty Lifter features an all-welded steel frame and beam with multiple silicone sealing ring vacuum pads and a 16,000 capacity for handling ferrous and non-ferrous plates up to 8 x 12 ft. Designed for optimum safety, standard features include a control pendant that requires two-hand operation, and if there is a loss of power, it has a self-contained vacuum reservoir, check valves, and leakage sensor with audio-visual alarms.
Available with four to eight vacuum pads with double spring suspensions, depending upon application, the E-Series Mill-Duty Lifter is more versatile than a magnetic lifter with battery backup, claims the firm. Options include controls that can be fully integrated with an overhead crane, custom suction pad materials and sizes, parking stands, and more.
