A below-the-hook vacuum lifter that uses a three-legged approach with pivoting suction cups for attaching securely to contoured structures and vessels is being introduced by Anver Corporation (Hudson, MA). The VPFL4-20-AIR Series Vacuum Generator for awkward loads features a tri-beam design with fully adjustable suction cups that pivot to securely fit onto the surface of contoured structures and vessels. Accommodating loads from 24 in to 48 in diameter and up to 500 lb, it has an all-welded steel frame and an adjustable handle bar to keep the operator at a safe distance.
Equipped with a vacuum loss sensor, which activates an audio-visual alarm in the event of a vacuum loss or if 10-percent leakage occurs, the VPFL4-20-AIR Series Vacuum Generator includes a slide control valve with a safety lock, high capacity air-powered vacuum pump, gauges, and an air filter. Various vacuum suction cup materials are offered to match applications. The VPFL4-20-AIR Series Vacuum Generator is priced from $1,595 up, depending upon the vacuum pad attachment.
