The Wheelabrator Roll Conveyor Shotblast system has been specifically developed to provide surface preparation solutions for the fabrication industry. A continuous controlled feed of steel into the blast zone is the core advantage to this particular machine. This results in a significant savings in time.

Wheelabrator Group (La Grange, GA) offers an extensive line of ?environmentally-friendly? roll conveyor blast cabinets available to accommodate a wide range of part shapes and sizes. These Autoblast® Roll Conveyor machines are an ideal alternative to manual air blasting and have helped customers reduce their labor and energy costs. With 100 percent efficient blast coverage, the controlled cycle of the system results in more units cleaned in a shorter amount of time, increasing overall productivity.

The Autoblast® Roll Conveyor is specifically-designed to descale and remove rust from plate and structural members prior to fabrication. Modern automated processes have decreased the need to prepare, bevel or grind steel prior to welding, resulting in higher-quality welds. The system utilizes four EZEFIT® wheels that blast with steel shot abrasive at a velocity of 265 ft per second. The velocity has been proven to be optimal in removing rust and other containments from plates and structural steel. The operation is available in three different model sizes equipped to suit plate widths of up to 8 ft and structural steel up to 36 in high.
