High performance Swiss tooling from Dieterle, Europe?s industry-leader, is available in North America exclusively from importer The CIMtek Group (Elgin, IL). While many competitors offer limited product groups for Swiss tooling, Dieterle boasts one of the most comprehensive lines of high quality, high performance Swiss tooling from stock including a full range of machine specific adapters.

The Dieterle line includes the Eco-Star External Tooling System. This unique design with a pressed steel bushing allows for changing the insert without removing the toolholder from the machine.

This Dieterle engineering innovation allows for easy insert change and drastically reduces downtime. The ground high quality carbide inserts are suitable for a wide range of applications. Eco-Star allows for turning, grooving, parting-off, threading and copying with only one toolholder when used in a Swiss CNC lathe or sliding headstock machine. Special carbide grades with special coatings are available for use with a wide range of materials including: high alloy steels, titanium and stainless steels.

Dieterle?s MiniFix Internal Swiss Machining Systems are an excellent choice for boring, threading, grooving, copying in diameters from 0.028 in. This system is also flexible to allow the use of either indexable or solid carbide tools in the same toolholder. The innovative V-shank design sets up easy and locks in one way leading to insert repeatability both axially and radially of less than .0005 in.

Also available from The CIMtek Group are Dieterle carbide insertable form tools. The profiles of these form tools are optically ground for accuracy and repeatability. Additionally, thread whirling cutters are ideal for medical and dental applications. Dieterle?s polygon cutters produce flats, square forms, hexagonal or octagonal forms on exceptionally small workpieces Dieterle also offers a full range of broaches including hexagonal and other special profiles.
