Messe Düsseldorf North America (Chicago, IL) announced that Wire China 2010, the 4th All China- International Wire and Cable Industry Trade Fair, and Tube China 2010, the 4th All China – International Tube and Pipe Trade Fair, will benefit from the two-year investment program of the Chinese Government aimed to stimulate domestic demand in order to overcome the challenges of the financial crisis. Through fiscal spendingthe program will generate a total investment of RMB 4 trillion nationwide. The money will mainly be used for government-subsidized housing, projects related to the interests of rural residents, the construction of railway and other infrastructure projects, social development programs as well as environmental protection and post-earthquake recovery and reconstruction.
In addition, the wide-ranging industrial restructuring and upgrading of ten key industries, including automotive, iron and steel, have been pushed forward. The large number of infrastructure projects, the utilization of pipes in energy transportation and the post-disaster reconstruction will stimulate the market demand and enhance the further development of the industry.
Wire and Tube China will be held concurrently at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from September 21 ? 24, 2010. Both events will be organized by Messe Düsseldorf China Ltd. ? wire China 2010 in cooperation with the Shanghai Electrical Cable Research Institute and Tube China in collaboration with the Metallurgical Council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
As the leading trade fairs for their industries in Asia, wire and Tube China 2010 will present the technical development and technology highlights from the wire and tube manufacturing industry. Exhibit categories at wire China 2010 will include wire, fastener and spring manufacturing and finishing machinery, process technology tools and auxiliary process technology equipment as well as special wires and cables, measuring and control technology and test engineering. Tube China 2010 will be the platform for tube manufacturing machinery, raw materials, tubes and accessories, used machinery, process technology tools and auxiliaries as well as test engineering and measuring and control technology.
At the shows? last staging in 2008, 1,098 exhibitors showcased their newest technologies on 618,945 square feet of exhibit space to over 30,000 visitors.
