ROUNDO AB (Hassleholm, Sweden) and Trilogy Machinery (Belcamp, MD) have announced that ROUNDO has entered into an agreement with Trilogy for the company to become ROUNDO's new, exclusive North American agent. For over 38 years, ROUNDO has been represented by Comeq, Inc., and they have been the exclusive agent during that time. After careful consideration, ROUNDO decided to change agents. The company thanked Comeq, Inc. for their many years of cooperation.
For over 31 years, Allan Flamholz, President of Trilogy, has assisted a wide range of customers in diverse industries in selecting and providing training for the ROUNDO bending rolls best suited for their applications. Allan has extensive first-hand knowledge of the complete ROUNDO product line, as well as a close working relationship with the Kajrup family, the owners of ROUNDO. Allan holds Bachelor?s and Master?s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, as well as an MBA from Loyola College of Maryland. Allan is a participant in the AISC Bender/Roller Committee and has hosted lectures around the world on bending rolls. In addition, he is a contributing author of numerous technical articles in a variety of industry and trade publications.
Joining Trilogy Machinery are Bob Vorsteg, who has been assisting ROUNDO customers with training and technical support for over 30 years; Fred Gebhardt, who has been involved in the sales and support of ROUNDO rolls for over 17 years; Mike Shadle, who has handled spare parts and technical support for ROUNDO machines for over 19 years; and Beej Flamholz, who has been involved in the sales and technical support of ROUNDO bending rolls for over 4 years. He, too, has a strong relationship with ROUNDO, including over 20 visits to the ROUNDO factory in Sweden.
Trilogy occupies a 50,000 sq. ft. facility with 25 ton overhead crane capacity, over 2,500 sq. ft. of office space and a 5,000 sq. ft. showroom, where they can demonstrate under power the full line of ROUNDO bending rolls, including machines equipped with CNC controls. Customers can have samples of their products test-rolled to ensure the highest quality results. According to the companies, for those with machines still covered under warranty, Trilogy will take over the full warranty responsibility and obligations for the machines with full support from ROUNDO.
