One of the most risky things for an operator to do is return a part to the sinker machine after removing it for inspection. If the part is placed even slightly out of position and machining is continued, the tool can easily be damaged and possibly ruined.

The TolTec Microimage Measurer eliminates this danger by verifying the accuracy of mold measurements and checking surface finish during the moldmaking process while the mold is still in place on the EDM or milling machine.

Not only does the TolTec Microimage Measurer decrease costly errors, it also speeds production. The time-consuming routine of removing, measuring and relocating the mold is eliminated. Accurate measurements are taken and recorded from the machine?s CNC controller, allowing the operator to check tolerances on the fly with ease.
