Sapa Fabricated Products (Magnolia, AR) announced that it has acquired certain assets of Cincinnati, OH-based Edwards Products company. Edwards Products is a leading supplier of aluminum accessibility products to the commercial modular building industry. According to Sapa, the addition of the Edwards Products brand to the Sapa business group will allow Sapa to take its services in the accessibility market to a higher level and will enable the company to access new markets.
"Building on our core competencies, including our clients, people, products and services, is the key to our growth strategy. The Edwards addition to Sapa?s business is a clear statement regarding Sapa?s growth strategy,? stated Kevin Stuban (General Manager, Sapa Fabricated Products, Magnolia, AR).
Sapa stated that this acquisition could not have been possible without the support given from the Magnolia Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) and Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC).
The principal owners of Edwards Products, Tom Reilly and his son Tommy, will also join Sapa in key sales and strategic planning roles. "Together, we are committed to the products and services that made Edwards Products a premier choice in the marketplace,? stated Tom Reilly. The production operations of the Edwards Products will be moved to Magnolia over the next few months and Sapa plans to continue to distribute Edwards Products from the Charlotte area.
