The BMC-110R features stress relieved Meehanite castings for all major components and utilizes induction hardened box ways on all three axes (X,Y,Z). The headstock, column base and cross slides are all lined with turcite providing excellent wear and slip stick characteristics.

FEMCO Inc. offers the highly productive CNC horizontal boring mill model BMC-110R for manufacturing large parts for a wide variety of industries. The BMC-110R features stress relieved Meehanite castings for all major components and utilizes induction hardened box ways on all three axes (X,Y,Z). The headstock, column base and cross slides are all lined with turcite providing excellent wear and slip stick characteristics.
The BMC-110R is equipped with a 60-station automatic tool changer and can be equipped with an optional 90-station tool magazine. The BMC-110R is equipped with a large 44.09 in x 49.21 in worktable with a table load capacity of 8,820 lb. The machine comes standard with a powerful 35 hp, 50 taper spindle. A two speed geared head is standard allowing for maximum metal removal during heavy machining operations. The axis travels are 55.12 in x 47.24 in x 43.31 in (XYZ). The spindle diameter is 4.33 in and its stroke (W axis) is a generous 19.69 in.
A programmable 90 deg index table is standard for multi-sided parts machining. Precision glass scales are installed on all three axes to insure accuracy and repeatability. An external chain type chip conveyor system assures fast and efficient chip removal. The BMC-110R comes standard with the Fanuc OiMB CNC control and Fanuc servo drive system. Optional accessories include a through spindle coolant system.
