KRC Machine Tool Services (Independence, KY) marks its 20th Anniversary this year.

According to Scott Ashworth, company president, the initial vision 20 years ago (shared by partners/co-founders Tom Luzak, Bob Molnar and Jimmy Trusty) was to create a world class machine tool rebuilding company; the very best value, maintenance, service, rebuild and retrofit company in North America. Today, KRCMTS is a 5-Star Retrofitter for GE Fanuc and a Retrofitter of Choice for Siemens Energy & Automation. Current customers include Mazak, GE Aircraft Engines, Boeing, GKN Aerospace and many other highly regarded companies in the aerospace, oil and gas, mining and heavy equipment industries. The company employs 60 and has a fleet of 10 specially equipped, radio-dispatched service vehicles.
