SELF-PROPELLED SUBARC WELDING TRACTOR FOR HEAVY PRODUCTION WELDING

ESAB Welding & Cutting Products offers its A6 Mastertrac subarc welding tractor for heavy production welding. The Mastertrac, which can be used for GMAW or SAW applications, is a self-propelled tractor with four-wheel drive for stable, accurate and constant operation. It is available in single, twin or tandem wire configurations and takes up to 1/4 in (6 mm) wire using 1500 Amps (DC or AC), providing ample capacity for heavy production welding.

The A6 Mastertrac features ESAB's A2-A6 PEH process controller, which provides a digital display allowing accurate preset of all welding parameters. Maximum wire feeds are 8-157 imp (0.2-4.0 m/min) for SAW configurations and 31.5-653.5 ipm (0.8-16.6 m/min) for GMAW applications. Many specially developed accessories are available to meet a wide range of application needs.
