Lincoln Electric (Cleveland, OH) has expanded the capabilities of its marketing function with the promotion of Lisa Byall and Bruce Chantry to the newly created positions of portfolio managers.
Byall, responsible for overseeing the welding consumable portfolio, and Chantry overseeing Lincoln Electric?s welding equipment portfolio, are responsible for leading the marketing product management teams. This includes strategic planning, market analysis, new product development and product promotion to meet the demands of the global welding marketplace. Both Byall and Chantry are based at Lincoln Electric?s corporate headquarters in Cleveland and report to the director of marketing.

Lisa Byall has been with Lincoln Electric for 16 years and most recently served as product manager, flux-cored wires. In addition, Byall has worked in the distributor training department and as a technical sales representative. She is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor?s degree in chemical engineering. Byall has also served as chair for the American Welding Society, Cleveland section.
Bruce Chantry has been with Lincoln for 13 years, most recently as product manager, advanced welding equipment. Prior to that, he completed a six-year assignment as regional manager for the company?s Sub-Saharan Africa region, where he significantly grew the business and helped establish Lincoln Electric?s presence as an industry leader. Chantry has also served in Lincoln?s Moline, Ill., and Grand Rapids, Mich., sales offices. He holds a bachelor?s degree in electrical engineering from The Colorado School of Mines.
