Lincoln Electric added the L-59? MIG wire, which is specifically designed to deliver the best results for automated welding applications. This wire is an addition to the SuperArc® high-performance consumables line. This consumable's enhanced features make it ideal for automated welding solutions, single and multiple-pass welds and for use in the automotive, structural, pipeline and offshore, as well as general and heavy fabrication industries.
The SuperArc L-59 is a copper-coated, mild steel consumable that provides an extremely stable arc, as well as consistent feedability due to Lincoln Electric's MicroGuard® Ultra propriety surface coating technology. The deoxidizing arc tolerates higher amounts of surface contaminants, significantly reducing pre-weld surface prep time. Engineered chemical composition enhances silicon island management with minimal amounts of spatter for reduced post weld clean up. Improved arc wetting action decreases weld time with high travel speeds and deposition efficiencies.
The SuperArc L-59 wire delivers optimal performance with Lincoln Electric's patented GMAW Rapid Arc® and Tandem MIG® which is available through Waveform Control Technology® and also available in the Power Wave® equipment line. This wire works with 100 percent CO2, 75-80 percent Argon balance CO2 or 95-98 percent Argon balance CO2 shielding gases. It can accommodate a 30-50 CFH flow rate. Additionally, the L-59 wires conform to AWS A5.18, ASME SFA-5.18 and CWB CSA W48 requirements. Lincoln Electric's new SuperArc L-59 consumable is available at local welding distributors.
