Western Enterprises (Westlake, OH) has partnered with Lorain
County Community College (LCCC) as the supplier of shielding gas regulators, flashback arrestors and hose quick disconnects for the new National Center for Welding Education and Training to be built in 2009.

The Center will be housed in LCCC?s Manufacturing Center of Excellence in the Nord Advanced Technology Center and is a collaborative program with The Ohio State University. Western Enterprises has provided over 72 pieces of equipment including shielding gas regulator/flowmeters, oxygen and acetylene regulators, torch and regulator flashback arrestors, and quick disconnects. This initial donation will sufficiently equip an entire welding instruction lab in the new LCCC training center. Mr. Mike Miller, Product Manager of Industrial Products for Western Enterprises, stated, "Western is proud to be a long term partner with Lorain County Community College
in this venture. Educating incoming students and promoting welding as a viable occupation is key to the future of this industry.?
