Cinetic Landis Corporation Dedicates New Headquarters

Cinetic Landis Corp. has officially dedicated its new headquarters and manufacturing facility located in Hagerstown (Washington County), MD. Approximately 250 employees, company executives and guests from local academia and government agencies recently convened to mark the official opening of Cinetic's new home. The firm designs and manufactures precision grinding machines and systems.

Cinetic Landis president and CEO, Daniel Pheil, introduced the new 108,700 sq ft facility as a sustainable, green foundation for the company?s next century of progress. ?This plant is here to give the skilled and dedicated people of Cinetic Landis the tools they need to remain competitive in today?s technology environment, producing tomorrow?s products for a global market that demands ever higher levels of quality and productivity from the machines they build,? said Pheil. ?This building, the state-of-the-art tools it contains and the lean, flexible, efficient manufacturing system it is designed to support, are exactly what they need to meet the challenge of the future.?

The modern, highly efficient facility combines 84,700 square feet of state-of-the-art manufacturing space and 24,000 square feet of office space. According to Mr. Pheil, the plant is designed to support a lean, agile manufacturing system that mirrors the company?s twenty-first century business model. "Components and parts come in one end, our people do their magic, and the world?s best grinders come out the other end, said Pheil."
