Red Bud Industries (Red Bud, IL) hosted a Coil Processing Seminar at the Sheraton Frankfurt Hotel & Towers, Rhein Main Airport, Frankfurt, Germany, on September 16, 2008. Approximately 70 attendees learned about blanking, multi-blanking, leveling, slitting, and new processes (SCS® and EPS®) for hot roll black material, along with how to apply new technology, improve tolerances, produce optimum flatness in material, and maximize overall efficiency.

Featured speakers included Raymond Fausz, Director of International Marketing and Sales for Red Bud Industries; Dean Linders, Vice President of Marketing & Sales for Red Bud; Tom Hazen, formerly of Herr-Voss and now a consultant to the metals processing industry; Al Zelt, one of the leading experts in slitting technology; and Kevin Voges, President of The Material Works and inventor of the SCS and EPS processes.
