Tower Oil's TOWER X-69 represents a new approach to metalforming lubrication. TOWER X-69 utilizes a micro-polar wetting agent compounded with multi-phase extreme pressure agents that provides optimum wetting and extreme pressure protection. This unique combination reduces friction, enhances lubricity and provides excellent film strength, all designed to extend tool life and improve part quality.
TOWER X-69 is a chlorine free synthetic lubricant designed for a wide array of heavy duty metalforming operations such as progressive forming, coining, deep drawing, punching and extruding. This product is also designed for use in metal removal operations such as drilling, tapping, milling and sawing. It is recommended for use on ferrous metals, stainless steel, titanium and aluminum. TOWER X-69 can be applied by positive displacement spray systems where output can be accurately controlled by micro metering pumps, roller lubrication or drip application. Benefits include: heavy duty EP lubrication, it's compatible with carbide and other tool coatings, it reduces machine and parts cleanup, it protects against corrosion, and more.
