Hobart Brothers Company (Troy, OH) announces the expansion of its manufacturing operations into a new 65,000-square-foot facility located in Troy, OH. The new facility will be used to increase production capacity for the company?s welding consumables.

"We continue to see increases in both domestic and international demand for welding consumables, and are pleased to be able to invest in this expansion to support our growth? said Grant Harvey, Vice President and General Manager.

Hobart Brothers anticipates an additional 40 people will be added to its workforce once the new plant is at capacity. Construction on the new building began the week of September 2, 2008 and will be completed by Spring 2009.
