FLIR Systems, Inc. announces the addition of two new offerings to its T-Series of infrared cameras for predictive maintenance. The new cameras offer high-performance features at a very competitive price making it more readily available to a greater number of electrical and mechanical contractors.

"Infrared cameras have become an important tool for electrical and mechanical contractors working to identify problems before equipment fails," said David Francoeur, Director of Marketing, FLIR Systems. "The real benefit is being able to be proactive. With an infrared camera you can order parts and schedule repairs as needed, helping save time and money in terms of maintenance, downtime and lost production." The T-250 and T-200 cameras have FLIR’s picture-in-picture FUSION that enhances the value of an infrared image by, with a push of a button, allowing the overlay of an infrared image directly over the corresponding visible image. It makes for easier identification and interpretation of infrared images. The cameras include 200 x 150 infrared resolution (30,000 pixels), auto and manual focus for different users and various applications, and high thermal sensitivity to pinpoint problems quickly. The T-250 offers a touch screen capability for sketching diagrams and marking images, helpful in generating reports.www.goinfrared.com/pr2
