CHIP AND PARTS CONVEYORS ARE VIRTUALLY MAINTENANCE FREE
Machine Tool Dream: Ideal for moving and elevating ferrous materials such as chips, turnings, small parts and stampings.

Eriez (Erie, PA) chip and parts conveyors provide a practically maintenance-free method for moving and elevating ferrous materials such as chips, turnings, small parts and stampings. With the exception of an externally mounted drive motor, the unit is self-contained and the conveyor mechanism is completely enclosed. There are no moving external parts to jam, break or endanger personnel.
Eriez® conveyors use a continuous series of powerful ceramic magnets to pick up and glide materials along the stainless steel slider plate. Material is then discharged over the head end. Because of their liquid-tight construction, lower conveyor sections can be completely submerged in coolant sumps or tanks. The working face is self-cleaning, and excess fluids drain easily back into the tank.
The models in Eriez Chip and Parts Conveyors line feature a unique internal track system called Tuf-Trac, designed for low maintenance, quiet operation and long service life. These magnetic conveyors are highly effective in machining and stamping operations where small parts and scrap must be continuously moved from tight spaces, at severe elevations up to 90 degrees and often from a liquid quench.
Standard models vary in shape from straight horizontal to multiple doglegs including low profile units in widths from 8 in to 44 in (203-1118 mm) wide removing up to 10 tph (9 mtph). Options include integral hoppers, tanks, discharge arrangements, variable speed drives, demagnetizers and rigidized or manganese slider plates. All conveyor models feature heavy duty construction and provide years of reliable operation. www.eriez.com
