Braddock Metallurgical Purchases Suncoast Heat Treat Inc.

Braddock Metallurgical, Inc. (Jacksonville, FL) purchases certain assets of Suncoast Heat Treat Inc. (Boynton Beach, FL). The privately-held company does not disclose details. Among the assets purchased are Suncoast?s state-of-the-art Boynton Beach Aerospace Division and the Daytona Beach facility. These facilities now operate as Braddock Metallurgical Aerospace Services and Braddock Metallurgical Daytona. Suncoast?s personnel remain with the facilities and George Gieger, president of Braddock, now serves as president of the two new companies. As a result of this acquisition, Braddock Metallurgical is now the largest heat treat supplier in Florida, providing annealing to vacuum hardening heat-treating services to manufacturers across a range of industries from aerospace to transportation. www.braddockmt.com
