Machine tool distribution company, Morris Group, Inc., scored a perfect 100 percent on Okuma?s 2007 ?Distributor Performance Evaluation Scorecard?. The Platinum-level score represents excellence in five major areas, including service testing on mechanical and electrical components, 24/7 service and parts availability, customer satisfaction, parts inventory, and service technician-machine install ratio. Morris has been representing the Okuma line of CNC machine tools since 1981.
?The only way for a company to score perfectly is to have all departments working together and contributing,? says Brad Morris, President. ?I?m proud of the teamwork here.?
Morris Group?s Okuma team is comprised of the following companies: The Robert E. Morris Company, Morris Tri-State, Morris Tri-State North, Machine Tool Systems, R.O. Dederick Company, and Morris Midwest.
Okuma?s distributor evaluation program began in 2005 to create a service-minded culture and differentiate Okuma?s distributors from others. The criteria for the evaluation were jointly established through a collaborative builder-distributor partnership, the Customer Service Steering Committee. The group meets one to two times per year and teleconferences regularly to discuss key initiatives, policies, procedures, and annual service meeting content.
